13 Years Ago Today

Today is April 19th. Exactly 13 years ago I was sitting in a MEPS station in Boston scared to death with what I was doing. That was the day that my joining the Navy came to a head with my departure from living at home rent free and working at Bradlees. It was also the day that Waco happened. I'm sure that's the only thing that kept my taking the oath from being front page news in the Brockton Enterprise.

During my time in the Navy I made great friends and had a blast, but I'm glad to be out. You can only watch so many planes land before going crazy. Besides...how much Madden can you really play?
