Why Do We Wear Helmets?

As if you need a reason to strap your head into some protection, today's inspiration comes from the winning quarterback in last year's Superbowl.

It seems Big Ben isn't too big to need a helmet. I hope he comes out alright, but it would be far less of an issue with a brainbucket attached.
